Erodium stevenii Bieb.
Perennial, dioecious; lower stem downward pointing bristly; stem ascending to 10-20cm.
Leaves: leaf outline ovate pale green, dissected, with intercalary leaflets; pinnae bipinnatifid; leaf segments oblanceolate, long narrow, obtuse, glabrescent or scarcely pubescent.

Inflorescence: Peduncles to 3 flowered; sepals 4-5mm, 6mm in fruit; mucro 2mm; petals oblong, emarginate, 2x sepal length, 8-9mm, white or light lilac.

Fruit: Beak 3cm; mericarp c.6mm.
Distribution: Georgia; endemic to Caucasus, pre-Caucasus environs of Stavropol; sand and sandy-stony soils and scree in sparse steppe vegetation.
