Erodium sibthorpianum Boiss.
This species, found on Uludag, has a caespitose habit, forming dense wide hard hummocks.
Leaves: Lower leaves ovate, bipinnatisect, 7-25cm, very hairy silvery-grey, lacinae shortly oblong, acute.
Inflorescence: Flowering stems erect or ascending, pubescent below, with 1 to 5 peduncles; pedicels and calyces patently glandular-pubescent-hirsute; sepals 4-6mm, glandular pubescent, with a mucro 0.2-0.5mm (very short!); petals pale lilac or white with reddish veins 9-15mm; stamen filaments whitish; anthers yellow; stigmas red-pink.
Fruit: Beak 3.5-4.5cm.
Distribution: Found among limestone rocks on Uludag at 2300 to 2500m. Flowers July to August.
