Erodium pulverulentum (Cav.)Willd.
Erodium pulverulentum is an annual; stems thin, rather pink.
Leaves: Leaves small, kite shaped in outline, sinuate-pinnatifid or slightly cut, grey-green; upper leaves pinnatipartite.

Inflorescence: Umbels of 3-5 flowers; bracts 2-4, free, narrow and ciliate; flowers about 7mm across, mauve; sepals crisp hairy, nearly muticous; stamen filaments pink; anthers pink; pollen yellow; stigma deep pink.
Fruit: Beak 3.5-4cm. 2n=20

Distribution: described from Spain, Ontiloba; now found to occur in arid Mediterranium-climate zones including Spain, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, etc. to Israel.
