Erodium nervulosum L’Her
Erodium nervulosum is a perennial, with a thick, contorted, very short trunk from which flowering stems rise to 30cm, with long white hairs.
Leaves: Leaves to 4cm, broadly ovate, cordate, usually 3-lobed, crenate adpressed hirsute, glandular; upper leaves entire to tripartite; stipules large, dark brown.

Inflorescence: Umbels of up to 10 flowers; sepals 5-7mm; mucro >2 mm; petals 10-16 mm, pale pink, slightly feathered rose on the upper 2 petals, or occasionally white; staminodes pink; stamen filaments pink; pollen yellow; stigma deep pink.

Fruit: Mericarp 6-7 mm; rostrum 5-7 cm. 2n=20 Guitt.
Distribution: endemic to South Italy, in sands and limestones.
Synonym: Erodium gussonei Ten.
