Leaves entire, 14 – 45mm long, triangular ovate usually trilobate, crenate. Stipules 0.3-6mm, triangular, membraneous, brownish, hairy and glandular
Inflorescence: Umbels axillary, 2-5 flowered, bracts 2-5, 2-5mm x 1.2-2mm, free, triangular membranaceous, brownish, with glandular hairs. Sepals 4-9mm (8-16mm in fruit) with glandular hairs, awn 0.7-1mm. Petals 7-11mm x 3.4-5mm, bluish violet, anthers dark brown
Fruit: Beak large, 4.5-9cm; mericarp 7-1mm, foveole as long as wide,with crowded eglandular hairs and a few long stalked glands at awn base, with 1 furrow beneath.
Distribution: Open habitats on generally dry soils: New South Wales, Southern and Western Australia
