Leaves 3-8cm, ovate to triangular-ovate, bi- or tri-pinnatisect, with intercalary leaflets, green or grey-green above and below, rather cedar-scented if bruised, leaflets have ultimate divisions in the plane of the blade and have glandular hairs. Stipules 7-10mm, adnate on half or more of their length, triangular or broadly triangular.

Inflorescence: Umbels of 2-4 flowers; bracts 4-7, free; petals 10.5-12 mm (corolla of 1-2 cm in diameter), subequal, overlapping, pink with violet veins, no blotch; nectaries equal, sub-bilobed, wider than tall.

Fruit: Mericarps 5-6 mm with subcircular foveoles and has outer edge ciliate; rostrum 18-25mm. 2n=20
Distribution: endemic to France, near the coast on calcareous rocks of the Narbonais and Pic St Comp near Montpellier.
