Erodium aytacii Yıld. & A.Doğru-Koca
Crisply canescent perennial; caudex very short, rarely clothed with old stipules; taproot bearing 1 or 2 fusiform tubers.
Leaves: leaf lamina 2.5-4.7 x 0.8-1.3 cm, oblong or ovate-oblong, usually pinnately lobed, rarely pinnatisect or undivided; lobes crenate; petiole 3-5 cm.
Inflorescence: flowering stems with no leaves or short leaves 0.5-1 cm long; bracts 4×1 cm, triangular or linear, greenish white, hirsute; peduncles crisply canescent; umbels with 5-8 flowers; calyx patently glandular pubescent; sepals 4-6 x 1-2 mm, oblong, glandular and hirsute; mucro 0.2 mm; petals 5-7 mm, glabrous, whitish pink; filaments white. April.
Distribution: hilly steppe, calcareous stony slopes, 1400-1500 m; Turkey, Malatya province.
