Erodium trichomanefolium L’Hér.
Erodium trichomanefolium is perennial; dioecious; stemless or almost so, perhaps a slight caudex; branched crown forms tufts.
Leaves: Leaves green(ish), bipinnatisect with intercalary leaflets, outline oblong lanceolate.
Inflorescence: Umbels radical, not on leafy flowering stems; flowers purple or deep pink or white, with deeper (reddish) veins, all petals equal and same length as sepals or slightly longer, no petals blotched.
Fruit: Rostrum 2.5cm; foveole shallow, without furrows.
Distribution: Amanus Mts & alpine Lebanon.
Note: this is not the plant often sold in nurseries as E. trichomanefolium. These are usually E. glandulosum hybrids
